I had a similar nipple with an air equalization hole on the side that had a ball in it to prevent liquid from running out. I wanted one like that again so I could use the screw nipple on cola or juice bottles, since all the baby bottles always have different caps. And these nipples on offer here fit normal drinking bottles. The nipples have a point that you have to cut off or pierce. The rubber at the bottom goes over the entire surface of the screw cap and has a slit on the side. The screw cap has a small hole. At first I thought the slit and the opening had to line up, but then all the liquid ran out. So I put it in slightly offset from the hole in the yellow screw cap and then it worked, the lamb drank and no one got accidentally wet. The good thing is that the nipple can be quickly removed from the cap after use for cleaning. So after a long search, I'm really happy to have found this. It's missing the little ball like in my old product, but at this great price you can do without it and get a spritz every now and then.
