Long Range Extender Wireless WiFi Repeater Wi Fi Booster 2.4G/5Ghz Wi-Fi Amplifier 1200 Mbps Wifi Router Access Point

The repeater does not work properly. Loses WIFI signal 4m from the router. Unfortunately, it does not work with the 5G network, which according to the seller was supposed to work and I bought a repeater for this 5G option. In general, the device does not fulfill its function in any way, so it should not be sold. I waited for the device for over 21 days and I was very disappointed. It was enough to give information in the description that it works only in 2.4G and the max distance is 3m .. Without searching.

This is a slow wifi repeater, check the picture for proof. Using my Virgin router is fast even upstairs where I was testing, the repeater REALLY slows my connection sitting just 2 metres from it (for all tests) They offer UK plug, but it is just an adaptor that probably isn't even legal in UK. So the unit stands well away from the socket. Be careful where you position it so it does not get knocked. Cheap, so I got what I paid for I guess! ;)

1. The device comes with no security at all, anybody can connect to its admin panel and change the settings!!! 2. There are no advanced settings as stated in the description. No option to set a password for the device. 3. In Extender mode there is no option to set a different password for the extended network (only the name could be changed while the password is inherited) Well generally speaking it works, but it's a backdoor to your network.

I am very disappointed. The product does not match the description. I ordered a Long Range Extender Wireless WiFi Repeater Wi Fi Booster 2.4G/5Ghz-Wi-Fi Amplifier 1200M-Wifi Router-Access Point that supports 5GHz, and it was delivered to me a device that only supports 2.4GHz. Does not support Wireless standard: IEEE802.11ac standard. Does not support Working Frequency: 5.180-5.825GHz (5G)
