These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought! They don't have much of an insole, but the sole itself is made of a foam rubber compound that adds to the comfort. The downside to this type of sole is the "pleather pants" squeak it produces. But, so far I've only worn them around the house with all laminate flooring. The color I bought was the red brown which looked like it would be an oxblood type "leather". This was not the case. The canvas has some red in it, making me feel like it may have been my error. But they still look fantastic! I bought the 41/255 (same as most of the shoes I own) but feel like I could've gotten away with the 40/250 with these. Despite these little hiccups, I'm still giving these a five star rating based on the fast shipping, the style and (above all) the comfort.
