The smart watch is decent with a good look and it came well-packed in a box containing a short basic manual in English and a magnetic usb charger. The charging was easy and fast, it would be more convenient if the charging contacts were so positioned on the back so that the charging cable would get out sideways from the watch without being pressed against the bracelet straps.
The watch will normally be black and its display will only light up with a good resolution and easily read contrast for only about 5 seconds when you lift up your wrist. This is to conserve power and I do not see it as a negative feature. You then have to pair it up with your smart phone by downloading on the smartphone the JYou app from google store. Only then can you use the alarm of the watch and the weather info after finding your town if you are lucky. However, the alarm (you can set up to 3 alarms at different times) is only 3-4 vibrations without sleep function so better to use the alarm of the phone instead as you may continue sleeping if you rely on the watch. The time and date will update automatically by pairing, but you can also set it manually from the watch. The app is not very easy to understand all the settings, I don't know if you can also install other app on the phone that will also receive the data from thew watch, it could be possible as the pairing of watch and phone is over Bluetooth. The watch has also a stopwatch that can be operated from the watch. The push reminders work as a vibration of the watch with a displayed message but don't imagine that you can use the watch as a hands free, it has no microphone or loudspeaker as I originally thought, nor can you answer a phone call straight from the watch. The steps, calories, distance, heart beat monitoring work too as expected. When I operated the heartbeat monitor from the smartphone I had kind of a burning sensation but maybe it was my idea. There is also a sedentary reminder that I am not interested in. The watch is water-resistant and rugged and the bracelet too, it will not come out accidentally or anything like this and build-quality and material are good and decent. Oh yes by selecting on the phone app the remote camera and then shaking your watch the phone will take a picture but I do not understand then who will be holding the phone if it is for selfies. If you cannot find your phone you can make it ring from your watch.
