Note:
1. Avoid changing earrings: Do not remove your earrings immediately after getting your ears pierced, or they will bleed and you will not be able to put them back on. Do not change earrings frequently until the wound has healed completely. Wearing the same pair of earrings for a long time will help stabilise the wound.
2. Maintain clean: Gently clean the wound area every day with a special ear wash or topical alcohol. Use a sterile cotton ball or cotton swab, dipped in an appropriate amount of cleaning solution, to wipe the skin around the ear hole. At the same time, avoid direct contact with the wound with your hands.
3. Gently rotate the earring: Gently rotate the earring out of the piercing with a clean finger to prevent the earring from sticking to the newly grown skin as the wound heals.
4. Avoid swimming and immersion: Avoid swimming or submerging your ear holes in water until they are fully healed (usually takes weeks to months) as this can cause infection. Take care to dry your ears with a hair dryer after washing your hair and showering.
