Castism 25
A spinning reel developed to target various fish species with long-distance casting.
"Durable drive gear", "lightweight spool", and "high casting performance" are realized.
Equipped with a line memory that allows you to see at a glance the type of line wound, and a line clip that supports strong lines and thick leaders, you can enjoy a comfortable game.
And there are two types of drag, ATD and QD, which are advantageous depending on the situation.
DAIWA Spinning Reel Castism 25
Two types of drag "QD" and "ATD"
QD
QD's strengths are in "long-distance casting rod fishing".
When targeting red sea bream, Hamafuefuki, and large gizzard shad with a rod, the rule is to loosen the drag and wait for a bite.
When the fish eats the bait, they run all at once, so if you do not let out the line smoothly according to their movement, they may feel resistance and release the bait they are holding, or sometimes the tackle may be taken away.
In such a situation, there is no time to tighten the drag multiple times. QD allows for quick response with just one twist of the drag knob.
Ideal for casting fishing for large fish.
ATD
A drag that has perfected its original function.
It prevents line breaks by sending out the line when the load exceeds the set load, and maintains a constant resistance while the line is being pulled out.
Depending on the setting value, the drag may slip due to the load of casting when casting long distances. In that case, we recommend wearing a finger guard to prevent injury.

Gear that can withstand high load conditions
The drive gear, which can be said to be the heart of the reel, is equipped with "Aluminum Machine Cut Tough Digigear".
The shape of the gear is the latest design that takes into account the impact on meshing caused by sudden force.
This is supported by Daiwa's unique processing technology of "cold forging + machine cutting", which achieves smooth rotation performance and durability through precise machine cutting.
