Item Pricing and Why It May Change
Item prices on Joom are set by sellers. Prices depend on currency exchange rates, shipping conditions, and individual seller policies. We can't always directly influence pricing, but we do our best to keep prices comfortable and affordable for you.
Below are common situations when item prices may appear to have changed unexpectedly, along with explanations and recommendations.
Message: "Daily Deals" discount was not applied
This may happen if:
- Items included in the deal sold out at the moment of placing your order. You’ll see the message "It looks like the price has changed at the last moment";
- The conditions of the deal weren't met, for example, you selected fewer than 6 items in your cart.
Always double-check the final price before paying.
Message: "Almost Free" deal discount was not applied
This happens if your deal has expired. For example, you placed the order after the 6-hour deal period. The price may also increase if you've selected paid shipping.

Message: "Special Price" discount was not applied
According to deal conditions, the discount applies only when purchasing at least 3 items at once, with at least one item marked with a lightning symbol (⚡️). You can combine this deal with points, but not with coupons.
If conditions are met, you will see a discount message displayed under the item price in your cart.

Deal period has ended
All deals and discounts are temporary. If the deal ends before checkout, the price in your cart will change automatically. You’ll see the message "It looks like the price has changed at the last moment".
Paid shipping
If you selected a paid delivery option, the total price of your order will increase accordingly.
Coupon discount wasn't applied
All item prices are shown without coupons by default. To apply a coupon:
- Tap the coupon, then tap "Apply".
- After applying, a red message "−N% coupon applied" will appear below the price, if eligible.
To see the discount amount, expiration date, and categories the coupon applies to, tap "You have a coupon" in your cart and select the coupon.
The price changed over time
Sellers can adjust their prices at any moment. If you noticed the price changed, it means the seller updated it. Always check the final price before placing an order.
Price changed after selecting options (size, color, model)
If the product has multiple variants, the final price will update after you select a color, size, or other product options.
Different prices on different devices
Our app considers your activity on different devices as separate users, even if you're logged in under the same account. Because of this, prices, discounts, and special offers can vary between devices.
Additional fees or currency conversion
Your bank may charge extra fees or convert currency if your order currency differs from your bank account currency. For details about currency conversion and possible additional fees, please contact your bank’s support service.
